Sport on Friday
Indoor 5 a side football for those aged 11+, and family table tennis, darts, etc in the school Gym, every other week.
Reading Club
An eclectic group of serious readers who love analysing authors, writing styles and the smell of paper & printing ink! They spend the evenings drinking tea, eating biscuits and discussing authors and writing styles, Christian and non-Christian.
Outreach to the Elderly
Once a month, a small team leads a service in a local residential home – this consists of Bible readings, prayers and hymns, and ends with each resident being prayed for individually.
Havering Womens' Aid
We give regular practical help and gifts to our local Women’s & children refuge.
'The Zone'
One of our leaders organises and runs a lunch time Christian club for teenagers in the School in which we meet. We also run the Youth Alpha course for some students after school.
‘Fools’ Book/Coffee Shop
One of our leaders is a trustee and director of this successful Christian High Street outreach centre in the town. Several of our members are very committed as volunteers in the shop (www.fools-for-christ.co.uk)
