I’m married to Meryl, and have lived in Upminster since 1977. We have two married Christian children and two grandchildren. Before taking on full time leadership of King’s Church, I was an Asst Head Teacher & D&T teacher in the school in which the church meets. Meryl was also an infants teacher until recently and now co-ordinates the |
children’s work in the church. I have attended church nearly all my life, but became a Christian at the age of 17, and haven’t looked back since.
I enjoy football, music, house & garden design, studio pottery, and the English countryside.
I have a strong vision to build a vibrant New Testament – style church which demonstrates God’s love, grace and power, and I feel very privileged to lead a great group of people!

I’m married to Allison and we have two children. We’ve lived in Upminster since 1993. I work from home as an Area Manager for a large electrical company based in Telford, Shropshire. Allison is a full-time housewife and mother. I was brought up in a catholic family, but made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ just before we got married. |
Whilst we attended a previous church in Brentwood, we helped out with leading cell groups and children’s work, and we were members there for six years. I now supervise the small groups and the children’s work at present, and both Allison and I oversee the youth programme in King’s Church.
We both enjoy music, reading, films, TV (comedy & detective shows), and family life. My dislikes are gardening, shopping and tacky games shows. |
