13th FLOOR VISIT
This is a great South African-based touring arts company = they are returning to Upminster 16-23rd November and will be doing 4 days' schools work in Gaynes and Coopers, including evening performances in both schools. Make sure you get to an evening performance and volunteer to host members of the Company in your home if possible.

CHURCHES TOGETHER
On the fourth Friday each month, there's a gathering of people from local churches to pray for 30min & have lunch together, at Trinity URC Church, Station Road, Upminster. Please attend if you can.

BIG ANSWERS
During October and November we will be tackling a series of 9 'hot potato' questions and answers. This means there is a particular subject for the talk on Sunday mornings, followed by group discussion in Life Groups on Tuesdays & Thursdays. THe topics are:
5 Oct: 'Can you believe it?' (Can the Bible be trusted)
12 Oct: '6-day Wonder or Big Bang?' (How was the world made?)
19 Oct: 'Do you really expect me to believe that?' (Noah's ark & the
dinosaurs
26 Oct: 'Don't call me an ape!' (The uniqueness of Man - and woman!)
2 Nov: 'It's all your fault!' (Why there's evil in the world)
9 Nov: 'A careless or heartless God?' (Why does He allow suffering?)
Other subjects will include Life after death, The end of the world, God's rescue package.

'WORDplus'
This is a great course to help all Christians to be sure of what they believe about many theological issues, and we're privileged to be hosting it in Upminster this year.
WORDplus runs on a Friday evening and Saturday morning & afternoon, five times per year for 2 years, and is suitable for EVERY Christian.
